WATER RESOURCES
In 1967, after occupying the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Israel declared that the water resources of the West Bank and Gaza the Israel´s property. The Palestinian people would have to apply for a permit to the Israeli army to carry out any water project in their own land.
According to Article 1 (2) of the Convention of Human Rights United Nations 1966, "All peoples may, for their own ends, freely dispose of their wealth and natural resources."
There are 42 wells dug by Israel in the West Bank, 80% of the water provided is supplied to the Israeli settlements, the rest goes to Palestinian communities.
The current division of water between Israel and Palestine violates human rights and international law for the division of water sharing between states, which is based on the principle of equitable and reasonable use of shared water resources. Article 6 of the United Nations Convention on the Law no Navigational Uses of International Waters refers to the social and economic needs for the use of water resources, protection and development of resources, the conservation and availability of alternatives to planned or existing use of water.
KIDNAPPED AGRICULTURE
The wall built by Israel has cleared and isolated thousands of hectares of agricultural land. Thus Israel denies Palestinians access to their own land, in contravention of its property rights and restricted freedom of movement, thus violating Article 12 of International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, to which Israel is a party since 1991.
"Israel's strategy assumes that when Palestine is an independent, is not feasible for the lack of natural resources. It is a slow genocide, apartheid not only "statements of James Phillips, Irish lawyer.
The ban on free use by the Palestinian population of natural resources, is part of systematic discrimination policy of Israel towards the Palestinian people. This measure is a criminal act constitutes a crime by the International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid of 18 July 1967 that Israel has not ratified but bound content of customary international law.
